Jennifer Molock
Dr. Jennifer Williams Molock has served as the Assistant Vice President for Equity & Diversity since September 2008. Prior to joining the staff at the University of Utah she was at Colorado State University (CSU) for just over ten years. While at CSU she served as the Director of the Office of Black Student Services, the Executive Director of Advocacy Programs & Services, Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and as a faculty member and academic advisor in the Student Affairs & Higher Education Master's Program.
Prior to her time at CSU her previous professional position was as the Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Student Development/Director of Minority Student Affairs at Western Carolina University. In her over 20 years of experience in higher education Dr. Molock has been a champion of Diversity. She has been responsible in leading global cultural trainings, implementing retention initiatives and serving as a strong advocate for underrepresented populations. Her passion and commitment to student development, social justice and student success has led her to being recognized as a strong leader, mentor and educator to all students.
Dr. Molock is an active member of the higher education and local community having served on a number of boards and committees. She is a member of the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators, serves on the board of directors of the Association for Black Cultural Centers and is an active and life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Dr. Molock received her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, her Master of Science degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and her Doctorate of Education from Teachers College-Columbia University. Dr. Molock is married and the mother of two children.
