Linda K. Amos Award for Distinguished Service to Women

The award recognizes a female staff or faculty member of the University of Utah who has selflessly given time and energy to improve the educational and/or working environment for women at the U, and best represents the ideals and actions of Linda K. Amos. It is presented annually in March during Women's Week.

Edie Kochenour Memorial Event

The annual networking event and presentation of interest to women commemorates the achievements of Edie Kochenour. Coordinated in collaboration with the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, the Kochenour Event frequently has been timed to coincide with Women's Week at the University of Utah.

UofU Chapter of the Utah Women in Higher Education Network

As part of the statewide Utah Women in Higher Education Network (UWHEN), the University of Utah chapter of UWHEN, a partnership with the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW), focuses on women advancing careers, leadership, and community at the U.  

 This chapter seeks to:

• Promote women’s career development and advancement
• Encourage the leadership potential in all women at the U
• Create a community for women with people of all genders at the U, in Utah, and beyond
